Settling In Procedure

• Brochure sent out
• Visit arranged to visit nursery- Parent Information brochure given.
• Place confirmed and home visit offered and arranged. Ideally a months time frame is given for settling in.
• Home visit with Manager and key person undertaken
• Documentation filled out on Home Visit:

Personal Details
Parent left with all About Me pack to fill out and return on first visit and key person cv.
Photo taken of child for peg
Child and family given photo album and Playaway photo book.

• Settling in visit arranged for half an hour. Parent stays and is shown the operational manual.
• Further settling in visit arranged between key person and parent until the child is ready to start.
