Recruitment Policy
The following procedure shall be carried out except in exceptional circumstances when recruiting staff. Any exceptions to the procedures should be noted and the reasons for the breach, and the notes made, be available for viewing by a representatives of OFSTED and other members of staff on request. The form opposite shall be completed and filed with the completed application forms from all unsuccessful applicants and retained for a minimum period of six months. (This is being carried out in particular to prove that the equal opportunities, sex discrimination, and race relations policies as set out in this document have been adhered to).
All applicants will be required to complete an application for employment form.
All application forms provided to applicants will be accompanied by a copy of the nursery statement on recruitment of ex- offenders and statement of our acceptance of the CRB code of practice (copy shown inserted in the manual adjacent to this page).
